1. Lagoon of Love Wedding Package – Seabreeze Resort
Stay a minimum of five nights at one of Upolu’s most luxurious boutique resorts and you’ll qualify for their “Lagoon of Love” wedding package. Start the day’s celebrations with a Champagne breakfast then enjoy a ceremony on the beach with an aisle walkway set up and a decorated signing table. You’ll receive a bouquet of tropical flowers, while the groom will have a floral lei made and the sei (ear garland) made for the bride. As well as the personal wedding coordinator, you’ll also have a registered minister, local warriors in traditional dress, a string band at the ceremony and a celebration drum ceremony on arrival at The Waterfront Restaurant and Bar for the reception. Look out for getting this wedding package for free, which is sometimes available if you stay at Seabreeze Resort during the low season.
2. Maeva Intimate Wedding Package – Return to Paradise Resort & Spa
Return to Paradise Resort & Spa is no stranger to weddings, boasting its very own Chapel by the Sea. They also have very reasonably-priced packages, starting with “Maeva Intimate“. The package is just for the bride and groom (additional guests are extra) and includes either a decorated beach or chapel venue (see the 10 Best Wedding Venues on Upolu for details), a flower bouquet for the bride and leis for the bride and groom, marriage license paperwork, a minister, witnesses (if required), toasting bottle of sparkling wine, local warriors to escort the bride and for after-ceremony photos, a local string band for the ceremony and flame torches lit at sunset.
For larger events, you may also want to look at their “Aiga Tropical” for up to 30 guests and “Paradise Elite” for up to 100, including a reception venue and food. See how this resort compares to the Top 25 Resorts in Samoa.
3. Le Taimane Wedding Package – Saletoga Sands Resort & Spa
The most complete package offered by Saletoga Sands Resort & Spa, “Le Taimane Wedding Package” has the ceremony, reception and accommodation sorted. The ceremony has all of the basics, from a celebrant to the marriage license, while the decoration of the ceremony venue, flame torches lit by a warrior at sunset and a bottle of sparkling wine for the toast are some of the highlights. Your reception includes a three-course buffet menu or an a la carte menu for 20 guests, a one-hour drinks package and a two-tier wedding cake.
As for accommodation, discover Saletoga’s highlights in the 10 Most Romantic Wedding & Honeymoon Resorts on Upolu.
4. The Samoan Experience Wedding Package – Coconuts Beach Club Resort & Spa
Should you want to go all out on a Samoan-style wedding, turn to Coconuts Beach Club Resort & Spa. Immerse yourself in Fa’a Samoa where the bride and groom will be adopted by two Samoan families and dressed in traditional attire, including a tailored lavalava (sarong) specially sewn for the groom. After the blowing of the conch shell, both bride and groom will be escorted to the melodies of Samoan singing where then each family chief will make a speech. A local string band will play throughout the ceremony, then it’s onto the reception with gifts exchanged between the families, a fiafia performance, dinner, a wedding cake and a bottle of sparkling wine.
But, if that all sounds a bit much, Coconuts also offers a range of low-key wedding packages, which all notably include a photographer and videographer.
5. Adventure Seekers Wedding Package – Le Vasa Resort
The beauty of Le Vasa Resort‘s wedding packages is that there is scope to create your own perfect day. If you need some inspiration, however, try the “Adventure Seekers” wedding package which takes the lucky couple to a private island with boat transfers included. The island can be decorated with flame torches, a Samoan fine mat and the sound of traditional Samoan music. There are floral arrangements for the bride and groom, and the bride will also be escorted by a traditionally dressed warrior. Other generous inclusions are a one-tier wedding cake, as well as sparkling wine for the bridal toast.

6. Barefoot Wedding Package – Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa
For a beautiful yet no-fuss wedding at a luxury resort, choose the “Barefoot Wedding” with Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa. The package includes a tropical archway decorating your choice of setting – the beach, your beachfront villa, the garden or the overwater pier. You can choose to have chairs with white linen set up at your venue. The bride will receive a sei and bouquet and the groom will just receive a sei. Of course, a wedding planner, marriage license and minister/celebrant are all included.
There are plenty of options to upgrade your wedding package to include some of the more cultural aspects, such as a string band, conch shell blowing for the ceremony, warrior and canoe escort and more, so be sure to enquire with the resort. 7. Pacific Paradise Wedding Package – Taumeasina Island Resort
Not only is your wedding arranged with the “Pacific Paradise Wedding Package“, but airport transfers with sparkling wine on arrival, bridal styling, a private beach or hotel room balcony dinner, a couple’s massage and entry to Taumeasina Island Resort‘s fiafia night are also included. Your wedding coordinator will make sure your traditional floral or bamboo arch at your chosen beach or chapel setting is arranged, while the celebrant, witnesses (if required) and all of the registration paperwork are accounted for. You’ll also be treated to a Samoan chief escort and serenaders during the ceremony, sparkling wine for toasting and wedding cupcakes for two.
Alternatively, consider Taumeasina’s low-key wedding package, “Island Retreat Wedding” for the ceremony essentials.
8. Elopement Package – Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort
If it’s just you, your loved one and limited time, consider the “Elopement Package” at the Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort. The resort right by Upolu’s international airport offers a tempting package including five nights’ accommodation and return airport transfers. Choose a venue, such as the Palm Pier, Sheraton Beach or Coral Chapel, and enjoy a simplistic yet elegant set-up with an arch, aisle and signing table. You’ll also have the paperwork organised, as well as a celebrant to officiate the marriage and a string band to serenade for one hour. Your special day concludes with a romantic dinner for two.
There are, of course, alternative wedding packages at the Sheraton should you want to get more guests involved and treat yourselves to extra indulgences, such as spa treatments and a tour of Apia.
9. Teuila Wedding Package – Aga Reef Resort
Last but certainly not least, relax with an idyllic wedding with your nearest and dearest on the shores of Lalomanu at Aga Reef Resort. Their all-inclusive “Teuila Wedding Package” is for up to 30 guests and features a Samoan umu buffet, a two-hour beverage package and a decorated reception venue with a sound system. The bride and groom will also be treated to three nights’ accommodation with a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, a wedding gift, return airport transfers and a couple’s massage. Oh, and your wedding ceremony will certainly rival many of those already mentioned on this list of wedding packages on Upolu with the addition of floral arrangements for three bridesmaids and three groomsmen.
Also, check out the “Vaepa’a Wedding Package” for a similar package but for up to 10 guests.
10. Taufua Beach Fales Wedding Package
Experience the beauty and Samoan charm of having your wedding at one of the country’s iconic beach fale accommodations with the wedding package offered by Taufua Beach Fales. On the idyllic shores of Lalomanu Beach, have your decorated wedding arch, signing tables, bridal bouquet and groom’s lei sorted, while lining the beach is your large dining fale/reception venue which will be set up for you and your guests. Although Taufua can arrange the marriage celebrant, the couple is responsible for the cost of the marriage certificate – see What are the Marriage Requirements in Samoa?
Additions to the wedding package can easily be applied, with Taufua offering Samoan-style catering with a price per head (discounted for more than 80 guests), while a DJ and/or fiafia group can also be arranged.
